Charcoal is one of the oldest drawing tools in the world. Even from
the 14th century
charcoal drawings have remained until today. By different pressure charcoal
leaves
a grey to black colour on the paper, which can be brightened with a special
etcher.
Gabriele Laubinger uses chamois-coloured paper for her charcoal drawings,
a toned,
slighty roughed up drawing paper. The drawings are fixed with spray.
